KWASIEC Gets Vote of Confidence Ahead of November Elections

THE Congress of Nigeria’s’ Political Parties has expressed vote of confidence in the ability of the Kwara State Independent Electoral Commission (KWASIEC) to conduct credible polls in the forthcoming Local Government election in the state.
This is contained in a statement by the Chairman, state chapter of CNPP, Alhaji Adebayo Lawal and Secretary, Prince Olufemi Adeleke in Ilorin.
It lauded KWASIEC for demonstrating the usual practice of keeping the stakeholders and the people well-informed about its activities and programmes.
The statement also acknowledged the transparency posture of the electoral umpire and urged the Commission to sustain the tempo.
It equally applauded the Commission for its commitment to the tenets of participatory democracy in the interest of sustaining peace and tranquility in the state.
The Statement called on the electorate and politicians to cooperate with the Commission to achieve the success of the stipulated election in the state on the eighteenth of November, this year.
