Gov AbdulRazaq blames past government on collapse of Kwara sectors

Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq of Kwara State has attributed rots in all sectors of the state economy to the negligence of the past government just as he described the development as a total system collapse.
The Governor who dropped the hint at a one-Day Public Enlightment held in Ilorin organised by the Presidential Advisory Committee against Corruption in collaboration with the National Orientation Agency (NOA) expressed displeasure over the rots in the whole system in the state.
He also attributed the problem to the corruption on the path of the leadership and promised to justifying the confidence reposed on him by the public by working hard to fix the problem.
The Governor who praised the EFCC for its proactiveness also promised to work hand-in-hand with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to recover all stolen properties from the state.
Governor AbdulRazaq particularly commended the EFCC for inviting individuals allegedly mismanaged the N2bn Small and Medium Enterprises Fund released to the state by the Federal Ministry of Finance.
Also speaking the speaker of the state House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Yakubu Salihu Danladi praised the organisers of the programme, saying that the programme was timely.
The Speaker who was represented by his Deputy, Mr. Raphael Adetiba spoke of the House’s intention to work with anti corruption agency to perform its statutory duties creditably.
Speaking earlier, the State Director, National Orientation Agency (NOA), Mr. Olusegun Adeyemi had said the programme was organised to sensitise the public on the adverse effects of corruption on the economy.
