Radio Kwara, Ilorin, is located in Kwara State called the State of Harmony in the North Central Zone of Nigeria. It draws inspiration from the serenity of its location and the peace engendered by age-long mutually beneficial co-habitation in spite of being a melting-pot of people with different backgrounds and heritage.
Apart from transmitting to live up to the classical objective of a broadcasting outfit and the aspirations of its founding fathers to inform, educate, entertain and keep the people abreast of developments around them, we also serve as the rallying point for both the government and the people.
It relays the activities of Government to keep the citizenry adequately informed about its achievements, efforts and challenges encountered in the discharge of its constitutional responsibilities. It is also a quintessential feedback mechanism through which Government feels the pulse of the people, their thinking and aspirations.

We are therefore committed to our vision and poised to continue to be a modern broadcasting outfit constantly re-engineering its facilities and updating the skills and knowledge of its personnel to meet modern taste and challenges. This is in spite of our being one of the few stations in Nigeria that have embarked on the process of digitalization through the acquisition and installation of digital studio equipments and transmitters.
