KSBC charged not to relent in discharging its statutory responsibility

The Kwara State Broadcasting Corporation has been charged not to relent in discharging its statutory responsibility to the public.

The Chairman, Alanamu Central Ward of the Peoples Democratic Party in Ilorin West Local Government area, Alhaji Saliu Otubu gave the charge today while leading other executive members of the Ward on a courtesy call to the corporation.

Alhaji Otubu who commended the corporation for its information, educative and enlightenment programme at moulding the society disclosed that the corporation’s management had performed well by enhancing the coverage of its activities to most part of the country.

The chairman also praised the present administration in the state for providing various social amenities in the ward, calling on the government to continue in that regard to enhance the socio-economic development of the state.

Responding, the General Manager of the Corporation, Alhaji Mahmud Abdulraheem who thanked the people of the Ward for identifying with the performance of the corporation promised not to relent in the use of the medium to affect the society positively.

Speaking through the corporation secretary, Alhaji Tunde Aremu, the general manager called on the people to assist the station with opinions and suggestions towards better performance.
