Duntoye visits Radio Kwara, charges Staff

The Kwara State Government says it is determined to strengthen the Information management sector.

The State Commissioner for Information and Home Affairs, Mr. Ben Duntoye gave the assurance today during the official visit to Radio Kwara, as part of his familiarization tour to all state media houses.

Mr. Duntoye said the present administration recognized the significance of the media in the discharge of its responsibility and would continue to accord the sector the deserved priority to achieve holistic success.

Mr. Duntoye expressed satisfaction with the performance of the management and the entire staff of Radio Kwara for their dedication, hard work and commitment to duty, aimed at ensuring effective service delivery.

Earlier, the General Manager of the Station, Barrister Mahmud AbdulRaheem said within the past few years, the Station had made tremendous improvement on such areas that would enhance its performance describing the Commissioner as vibrant and energetic whose position would re-brand the information sector.
