AbdulRaheem urges Labour movements

Labour movements in the country have been urged to continue to play strategy role in the development of the nation.

The General Manager of Kwara State Broadcasting Corporation, Barrister Mahmud AbdulRaheem made the call today, while receiving the executive members of the State branch of Trade Union Congress (TUC) in his office.

Barrister AbdulRaheem implored various labour organizations to always strive to improve the quality of life of their members to ensure their well-being.

The General Manager urged the unions to continue to support government in the task of improving the state and the country.

He also appealed to them to ensure a peaceful working environment among their members and to sustain the current labour government relations.

Barrister AbdulRaheem charged the labour movement to use dialogue in resolving issues.

Earlier, the chairman of the TUC, Comrade Israel Adebisi commended the station and the state government for its support and assistance to the congress.

The Secretary of the Congress, Comrade Captain Tar noted that the union would continue to partner with the state government in the task of improving the living standard of the people.

Comrade Tar praised Governor Bukola Saraki for his developmental efforts in all human endeavour.
