The Management of the Kwara State Broadcasting Corporation, Radio Kwara says it will do all within its power to promote the welfare of staff of the corporation.
The General Manager of the Corporation, Barrister Mahmud AbdulRaheem, stated this today while speaking at the Ordinary General Meeting of the Radio Kwara Multi-Purpose Co-operative Union.
Barrister AbdulRaheem said the management created a liberal environment for smooth operation of the staff and called for their support in encouraging management to serve them better.
He advised the executive of the cooperative union to always take the interest and total take home pay of members into consideration before granting loans and commended them for successfully steering the ship of the union.
Earlier in an address, the President of the cooperative union, Mr. Yemi Zubair, said inspite of the World Economic meltdown and financial injuries suffered by the society, the present executive was able to heal the wounds through prudent management of funds.
Mr. Zubair appealed to members to always clarify issues whenever they were in doubt.
He implored other staff that have not joined to join any of the two cooperative societies in the corporation as it was the easiest way to success.
In her message, the State Commissioner of Commerce and Cooperatives, Mrs. Felicia Ojeleye commended the executive and members for allowing peace to reign in the union.
