The General Manager of the Kwara State Broadcasting Corporation, Barrister Mahmud AbdulRaheem has reiterated his commitment towards moving the Corporation to greater height.
Barrister Mahmud stated this today at the send forth ceremony organized by the Programme Department of the Corporation for some retired staff of the department.
Barrister AbdulRaheem added that the programme was organized for the retirees in view of their contributions to the growth and development of the corporation.
He described the retirees as committed staff who had used their health and strength for the development of the Corporation.
Barrister AbdulRaheem therefore charged both the managements and staffs of the corporation to continue working in partnership towards the success of the corporation.
Also speaking, the Director of Programme, Mallam Yakub Baba-Ahmed described the events as an important one for the retirees who he said had done their best towards the success of the corporation.
He added that the retired officers were the second sets to be honoured by the department.
Mallam Baba-Ahmed therefore charged the staff of the department to emulate the good gesture of the retired officers.
Speaking on behalf of the retirees, a former Director of Programme, Mr. Kola Olota, said he was happy with the progress and achievements being recorded by the corporation and charged the staff not to relent in their effort at achieving more progress for the station.
