Arowosaiye Dapo Tayo was born in Omu-Aran Local Government Area of Kwara State, Nigeria. Arowosaiye graduated from the University of Ado-Ekiti with a B.Ed in English. He also holds a Diploma Certificates in Mass Communications from the Federal University of Lagos and a Diploma Certificate in law from the Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin.

He joined the Kwara State Broadcasting Corporation in 1976 as a Trainee. He has since then risen through the ranks to become the Director News and Current Affairs.

Arowosaiye D. T. is an indigene of Irepodun Local Government Area of Kwara State, Nigeria. He is happily married with children. He enjoys football and volleyball, as well as reading. He speaks English and Yoruba fluently.
