Management - Director Programmes

Yakub Baba Ahmed was born on 15th July 1958 in Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria.
He has a BA degree in History Education from the University of Ado-Ekiti, 2004. He has certificates in Junior, Intermediate and Senior Studio managers Course.

He joined Kwara State Broadcasting Corporation in 1979 as a Studio Manager Trainee. In 1989 he became the Studio Manager I. He became a Senior Studio Manager in 1992. Then, in 1995 he rose to become the principal Studio Manager. He was the Controller Operations in 1998, Chief of Operations in 2001 and in 2003 he was appointed the Acting Director of Programmes a position he’s held till date.

Yakub Baba Ahmed is an indigene of Ilorin East Local Government Area, Kwara State, Nigeria. He is happily married and bless with children. He speaks English and Yoruba fluently.
