Management - General Manager

Mahmud AbdulRaheem was born on 7th March, 1956 in Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria.
In 1982, Mahmud AbdulRaheem graduated from Bayero University, Kano, Nigeria, where he bagged a BA certificate in Mass Communications, and, in 1992 he obtained a MSc. Certificate in Mass Communications from the Federal University of Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria. In 2004, he graduated from Federal University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Kwara State with an LLB (Hons).

Between 1982 and 1983, he worked with the Rivers State Customs and Excise as a Corp member under the 10th batch of the National Youth Service Scheme (NYSC). He worked with the Kwara State Education Management Board, now the Kwara State Teaching Service Commission as a Class Teacher between 1984 and 1987.

Mahmud AbdulRaheem joined the Kwara State Broadcasting Corporation in August of 1987. He was later posted to the Kwara State Ministries of Information and Solid Minerals respectively between June and August 2002 as Press Secretary. In September 2002 he joined the National Broadcasting Corporation, NBC, where he served at the Ibadan Zonal Office until July 2003. He was appointed the General Manager of the Kwara State Broadcasting Service on July 24th, 2003.

Mahmud AbdulRaheem is an indigene of Ilorin West Local Government Area of Kwara State, Nigeria.
He is happily married and blessed with children.
