Imam Imole of Ilorin reminds that everyone would account for his or her deeds before Allah  - 2009-08-19

    The Imam Imole of Ilorin, Alhaji Abdul-Hamed Abdullahi has reminded that everyone would account for his or her deeds before Allah.

Alhaji Abdullahi said this today in Ilorin during the Fidau for Alhaji Abdul-Gafar Adio.

The Imam Imole explained that life and positions were temporary, saying that whatever done on earth would be revisited on the day of resurrection.

He enjoined wealthy individuals and those in positions of authority to always be conscious of the down trodden by alleviating their sufferings.

The clergy also enjoined Muslims not to see worldly materials and positions as a matter of life and death and enjoined them to always obey Allah’s commandments in order to have eternal life.

Alhaji Abdullahi described the deceased as a caring and devoted Muslim.

The Fidau attracted eminent personalities, prominent Islamic Scholars, Politicians, jurists, top government functionaries including the Chairman of the Kwara state Broadcasting Corporation, Alhaji Saliu Mohammed.
