Fifty Rural Electrification under the First Phase of One Hundred and Five Electrification project in Kwara State have been completed.
The Special Adviser to the Governor on Political Matters Alhaji Musa Abdullahi gave this indication in Ilorin while speaking at the Government Accountability programme.
Alhaji Abdullahi said thirty rural electrification project were currently ninety percent completed.
He said the remaining twenty five Communities would be finally connected to the national grid within the next four weeks.
The Special Adviser said under the second phase of the rural electrification project, four hundred and twenty-five communities would have access to power supply.
Alhaji Abdullahi added that the state government had procured forty nine transformers for installation to boast power supply across the state.
It would be recalled that Governor Bukola Saraki had promised that all rural communities in the state would be connected to national grid by next year.
