The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mr. Oladimeji Bankole, has appealed to politicians in Anambra State to play the game according to the rules.
Mr. Bankole who told newsmen at the Presidential Wing of the Murtala Muhammed Airport, Ikeja, on his way to Abuja said the advice came ahead of the sixth of next month’s gubernatorial election in the state.
The speaker, who was said to be returning from Ghana, was speaking against the backdrop that INEC election materials in the state were intercepted by the police.
He appealed to all the parties to ensure that the election was devoid of crisis.
It was alleged that the materials were intercepted on the Onitsha-Owerri Road enroute to an undisclosed destination.
