A special prayer was today held in honour of the Pioneer Vice Chancellor of the Kwara State University, Professor AbdulRasheed Na’allah and the Rector of the State Polytechnic, Alhaji Moshood Elelu by the Alanamu Central Development Association.

Leading other Islamic Scholars in the prayer, the Chief Imam of Alanamu Central Mosque, Alhaji Shehu Mukhtar-Imam, thanked Almighty Allah for their appointment and urged them to take their appointments as call to serve humanity.

Alhaji Mukhtar-Imam also enjoined them to use their position for the furtherance of the education sector in the State and prayed God to give them the wisdom and strength to serve.

In his address the Chairman of the Association, Alhaji Hussein Alege, said the prayer was organized to further prepare the two illustrious Sons of Alanamu Central for the task ahead and expressed the appreciation to Allah for their appointments.

In his goodwill message, the Balogun Alanamu of Ilorin, Alhaji Abubakar Jos thanked the State Governor, Doctor Bukola Saraki, for appointing the Indigenes of Alanamu into key position in the State Education Sector.

Responding on behalf of the two, Rector of the State Polytechnic, Alhaji Moshood Elelu, assured the people of Alanamu and Kwara State that they would serve with dedication.
