As Ramadan draws nearer, Muslims have been enjoined to ensure total purity in their preparations for the glorious month.

The Elese of Igbaja in Ifelodun Local Government, Alhaji Ahmed Babalola Awuni Arepo the third, gave the charge in his Palace, while responding to questions from our correspondent, Bashiru Jimoh.

The Traditional Ruler said everything associated with the holy month was cleanliness and advised Muslims to ensure that they do everything that would bring them nearer to Allah.

Oba Arepo stressed the need for missioners to preach purity and cleanliness as contained in the teachings of the Holy Quran and Prophet Mohammed.

He also called on parents and guardians to use the holy month to preach Love and Tolerance among their children and wards to ensure an egalitarian society.
