Women in Focus
Women in Focus is a program which focuses on issues concerning women.It is a prerecorded program that is broadcast every Thursday at 10:15am.

In the early 80's the program was known as WOMAN TO WOMAN, and was presented by Mairo Mustapha. In the early 90's it was renamed FOR WOMEN and presented by Memuna Jimada.The current presenter of the program, Hauwa Tajudeen, inherited the program in 1996, and changed its name to WOMEN IN FOCUS in 1999.


The program ideas are usually gotten from informal discussion settings, comprising of both men and women, discussing issues ranging from marital life to career life, social issues and general home management. Guests, most of whom are women, are drawn from all walks of life.

Women Achievers
Women Achievers is a 30 minutes program designed to cheer the women folks, motivating and encouraging them to become outstanding achievers.

Guests on the show are women professionals who share their experiences as career women and home managers.

The program started in 2004 and was produced and presented by Hauwa Tajudeen. It is currently produced and presented by Rashidat Mohammed, who took over in April, 2005.

 


Obelawo
Obelawo is a 30 minutes yoruba program that teaches women to cook better appealing, delicious and nutritious meals.

The program is presented by Motunrayo Fadipe and produced by Khadijat Afolabi, both of whom go out to source for recipes of indigenous meals.Flavor is added to the program with intermittent music.

 

 

Youth Alive
Youth Alive is a magazine program designed for the youth.

The program affords the youths the opportunity to air their views on various social issues, health issues, educational issues, governmental issues etc.

 


Corper's Half Hour
Corpers' Half Hour is a 30 minutes program presented by the National Youth Service Corp members.

The program sign-posts the activities and achievments of the National Youth Service Corp members in the State. These activities range from individual efforts to Community Development (CD) group efforts by the Corp members in areas of education, self-help and self-reliance development amongst others.

The program also serves as a vehicle of information for the Corp members.A segment of the show is set aside for the broadcast of personal messages from Corp members to loved ones.

 

For Kiddies
For Kiddies is a program designed for kids under 12 years of age. Its is presented entirely by invited school children, with guidance from the program producer.

The 15 minutes educative and entertainment program was formerly produced by Funmi Sulyman and Hauwa Tajudeen. It is currently produced by Khadijat Afolabi.

 


Eyin Ni Dakuko
At its inception, the program was called JEN GBORO. Its name was changed to Eyin ni Dakuko in January, 2005.

Eyin ni Dakuko is a yoruba program designed for the kids under 12 years of age. Its is presented entirely by invited school children, with guidance from the program producer.

The 15 minutes program was formerly produced by Funmi Sulyman and Hauwa Tajudeen. It is currently produced by Khadijat Afolabi.

 

 

Atelewo Eni
Atelewo Eni is a yoruba program that was born as a result of the program review conference, held in June 2005 at the Broadcasting House.

Its aim is teaching vocational work to women to help enhance producivity and economic self-sufficiency.
The program particularly teaches the women petty trades that cost little to start e.g cake making, jewlery making, livestock rearing etc.
Guest experts on the subjects are invited to lecture on the program.

The 15 minutes program is produced and presented by Khadijat Afolabi.

 

 

Gbagede Ife
Gbagede Ife is a 30 minutes yoruba program that is produced by Rasheedat Muhammed and presented by Rashidi Yekini.

The couple aims at promoting harmony in matrimonial lives. Couples are invited on the program to share their experiences and are questioned on various matrinonial and non-matrimonial issues concerning their spouse- seperately. They are then scored on the basis of accuracy of knowledge about each other and are presented with gifts at the end of the program.

Gbagede Ife is broadcast live every Thursday between 5:30pm and 6:00pm.

 

 

Mulero
Women in Focus is a program which focuses on issues concerning women.

It is a prerecorded 30 minutes yoruba panel program.In the early 80's the program was known as IYA LALABARO. In the early 90's it was renamed AIYE OBIRIN. It was renamed IYA NI WURA in the late 90's and then to MULERO shortly after.
