Women in Focus

Women in Focus is a program which focuses on issues concerning women.

It is a prerecorded program that is broadcast every Thursday at 10:15am.

In the early 80's the program was known as WOMAN TO WOMAN, and was presented by Mairo Mustapha. In the early 90's it was renamed FOR WOMEN and presented by Memuna Jimada.

The current presenter of the program, Hauwa Tajudeen, inherited the program in 1996, and changed its name to WOMEN IN FOCUS in 1999.

The program ideas are usually gotten from informal discussion settings, comprising of both men and women, discussing issues ranging from marital life to career life, social issues and general home management. Guests, most of whom are women, are drawn from all walks of life.
