Gov Ahmed Felicitates With Nigerians Over Buhari’s Return

THE Return of President Muhammadu Buhari to the country after medical vacation in London has continued to inspire more reactions from different segments of the Nigerian society.

Kwara State Governor, Dr. Abdulfatah Ahmed who rejoiced with Nigerians over the return of the President Buhari thanked Almighty Allah for the quick recovery of the President and wished him continuous protection.

“I am delighted that Mr. President has fully recovered and ready to continue to deliver on the campaign promises of our party by improving on the economy, fighting corruption and strengthening security,” Gov. Ahmed said.

Governor Ahmed hoped that with the renewed vigour, President Buhari would consolidate on various successes recorded by his administration in the last two years.

Gov. Ahmed also commended Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo for his commitment in moving the country forward while holding forth for President Buhari.

In the same vein, the National President of the Ilorin Emirate Descendants Progressive Union, Alhaji Abdul-Hameed Hadi noted that the return of the President would re-inject needed approach towards addressing the challenges facing the country.

Alhaji Hadi, who was speaking with our staff reporter, said the re-assumption of duty by President Buhari would enable the

Commander-in-Chief tackle the current rate of insecurity, economic stagnation and politically-related apprehensions, engulfing the nation.

According to him, President Buhari is expected to take urgent decisions awaiting his assents on major issues on the unity and development of the country.

He saluted the immediate courage of the President for addressing the nation after his return, stressing that the nation-wide broadcast has rekindle the confidence of Nigerians in the present administration.

Alhaji Hadi however, opined that efforts by the government to fight corruption and insurgency should continue to be intensified, particularly on the investigation and possible prosecution of indicted top government functionaries within the government.

The IEDPU National President therefore, solicited more prayers from Nigerians for President Buhari to succeed in the task ahead for the country to move forward.
