KWSG Reiterates Commitment to Repositioning of Media Houses

THE Kwara State Government has reiterated its Commitment to the ongoing repositioning exercise of the State owned Media Organizations in the State.

The Commissioner For Information and Communications, Alhaji Mahmud Babatunde Ajeigbe Stated this today While receiving the executives of the Kwara State Council of RATTAWU in his office.

The Commissioner who was elated by the Performance of the State Council of RATTAWU at the just concluded RATTAFEST in Jos, praised the leadership of the Union for winning laurels and medals for the State in Radio presentation and Television documentary, stressing that the Ministry will officially inform Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed about the achievement.

He assured that the administration would continue to identify with groups and associations willing to showcase the rich cultural heritage of the State to the world.

In his Speech, the Vice Chairman of the Kwara State Council of RATTAWU, Comrade Mohammed Saidu Gagara commended the State government for the programme of the Union.

Comrade Gagara maintained that the annual festival of the North Central Zone of RATTAWU has been taken up by the national body of the Union and solicited the assistance of the State Government to include their activities into the State Budget for proper planning and preparation for the next edition.
