KWSG to Intensify on Capital Projects Across The State

THE Kwara State government has reiterated its commitment to ensure that meaningful infrastructure projects were made available to the state.
The Special Adviser to the State Governor on Communication Strategy, Prince Tunji Morounfoye stated this today while featuring on a Radio Kwara Yoruba interactive programme “Gbagede-Oro”.
According to him, the State Infrastructure Development Fund (IF-K) had guaranteed the finance of critical infrastructure needed for the development and economic growth of the state.
He assured that all the ongoing projects in the state would be completed within stipulated time and implored Kwarans to continue to be patient with the present administration.
On flood, Prince Morounfoye who said government had put in place necessary measure to prevent it, called on people living in the river bank to vacate the area.
On hate speech, the Special Adviser said the present administration in the state would continue to welcome constructive criticism and asked the opposition parties in the state to desist from incitement statement, noting that this could disrupt the peace of the state.
Callers on the programme implored the state government to fast-tract work on the ongoing project particularly roads.
They also urged government to continue to pay more attention to the welfare of workers.
