No Deduction from LG N4B Loan – Moronfoye

The Former Aide to the Kwara state Executive Governor on Communication Strategy, Olatunji Moronfoye has discard the rumours that the state government will deduct from the proposed four-billion-naira loan aimed at paying the arrears of State Universal Basic Education Board and staff of Local Government
Morounfoye, who stated this today while featuring on Radio Kwara Two Yoruba interactive programme, ‘Gbagede Oro’, assured the affected civil servants that government would soon pay all their outstanding salaries, imploring them to disregard the information.
Speaking on the issue of water, Morounfoye expressed sadness over the current situation of water in the state, maintaining that government would not relent until people have access to pipe born water.
Commenting on the Diamond Under Pass project at Geri Alimi, Sango-UITH road, and Alabgado Bridge, the Guest assured that all projects embarked upon by this present administration would be delivered at the stipulated time, advising people to be cautious while plying the routes.
Morounfoye however, commended the State Governor, AbdulFatah Ahmed and the State Lawmakers for the law prohibiting the sales of liquor in some part of the state, saying this will restore sanity in the area.
Callers on the programme seek for the assistance of government on the rehabilitation of Popo giwa-Idi Ape, Ode Agodi, Oja Iya and Tanke-F-division roads.
They also called for the extension of Light Up Kwara to Baruba-Kankatu area.
