Nicki Minajmade her presence known Tuesday at the Staples Center in Los Angeles as she donned a black leather ensemble to catch the Los Angeles Lakers fall to James Harden’s Houston Rockets.
The Starships singer, 35,donned a black leather outfit consisting of a top with a silver zipper up the front, with long sleeves composed of fishnet and studded leather leading up to a black choker around her neck.
The bottom area had strips of fishnet and studded leather, as she accessorized with studded black heels and a black Chanel purse.
The Rake It Up artist, whose full name is Onika Tanya Maraj, took to Instagram on Tuesday to reveal she has two new singles on tap for release Thursday, Barbie Tingz and Chun Li.
It’s not the first time Minaj has released multiple songs concurrently, as she did so in 2017, making history on the Billboard Hot 100 when she put out the tracks No Frauds (ft. Drake and Lil Wayne), Changed It (ft. Lil Wayne) and Regret in Your Tears.
The three songs all landed on the chart – helping her beat a 40-year-old record held by the Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin – as she become the female artist with the most entries in the history of the chart by a mark of 76 to 73.
Tuesday’s losing effort marked the final home contest of the year for the Lakers, who finish their season Wednesday as the away team against the Los Angeles Clippers, who they share the building with.
