President Buhari arrives Bauchi for 2-Day working visit

President MUHAMMADU BUHARI has arrived in Bauchi state, North East Nigeria for a two-day working visit.

The president’s official plane arrived at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Airport in Bauchi, the state capital this morning, and he was received by the state governor, MOHAMMED ABUBAKAR and his counterpart from Adamawa state, MOHAMED JUBRILA and other members of the Bauchi state cabinet.

As part of the president’s visit, he will inaugurate the Air Force Referral Hospital, road projects implemented by the state government and also flag-off the distribution of farming implements to farmers.

The visit to Bauchi state is President MUHAMMADU BUHARI’s third scheduled visit after two failed attempts since resuming office in 2015.

Meanwhile, the Bauchi state government has declared Thursday a work-free day to enable residents come out and welcome the President.
