Road Rehabilitation Begins in Kwara – KWSG

As the rain gradually subside, the Kwara State government is to begin the rehabilitation of roads in Ilorin metropolis.
This was disclosed in a statement by the State Commissioner for Works and Transport, Alhaji Aro Yahaya in Ilorin on Tuesday.
He noted that the weekly palliative work is in line with the preventive maintenance approach of the Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed-led administration which has positioned the Ministry to address issues relating to road construction, repair and maintenance across the State.
Yahaya listed some of the roads to be repaired to include: Oke Fomo, Agbo Oba, Oja Iya, Trinity, Gaa Akanbi, Oja Tuntun junction, Isale Aluko/Ita Ojubo junction, Ojere junction, Thanks Alore-Medina- Ojueku and Wara Osin- Baala Road.
He reiterated the commitment of the state government to make roads in the State motorable for users.
Alhaji Yahaya said other parts of the metropolis will be addressed on a weekly basis until all affected roads are repaired.
