2019: Sen. Rafiu visits Gbagede community, canvasses support for PDP

The senator representing Kwara South, Dr Rafiu Adebayo Ibrahim on Sunday visited Gbagede town, Ifelodun LGA to canvass support for his party, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP ahead of the forthcoming general elections.

Rafiu who is seeking a return to the Senate, addressed party members, supporters and people of the area.

He had earlier paid homage to the traditional ruler of the town, Oba Abdulhakeem Kayode Ishola.

The monarch acknowledged the good works of the lawmaker and also prayed for the success of his re-election into the Senate.

While addressing residents, party members and supporters, Senator Rafiu rallied support for the PDP presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, stressing that the PDP administration would keep doing his best for the people and never disappoint them.

He also canvassed support for all the PDP candidates in the forthcoming elections including Kwara PDP governorship candidate, Hon. Razak Atunwa, House of Rep candidate for Ifelodun /Offa/Oyun Fed constituency, Hon. Tope Olayonu and other candidates of the PDP.

The people assured that they would deliver their votes to all the PDP candidates in the elections.
